The ore. I was surprised because suddenly I would stop receiving ores in my storage, but then I had industries in Other systems using the ores, so I supposed that was it.

Does trading with a faction strengthen it in any way? Does trading on the black market support pirates?

I have a colony with a mining operation, which requires drugs to function properly. I don't really want it to be a free port, so I smuggled some myself and put in the colony storage, but they don't use them, despite "use stockpiles during shortages" being turned on. Consequently, colony produces no ore. Is there a way to fix that?

I am sorry, mister, are we talking about Tech-mining industry (vanilla)? As far as I know, Industrial Evolution does not have any impact on it's work.

And as "artifact" word appear it is also possible you mean "Domain era archeology" industry. This is a wrong thread. In that case you need to post that in TASC thread. However, the answer would be: "it is intended to fit vanilla market import/export mechanic", tho'.

Yes, I mean the Domain era archaelogy. I was sure this was added by your mod. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

I’ve noticed that too. I have 8-10 pirate groups arriving in my system soon after establishing the colony. It’s extremely annoying. Any idea how to disable it?

I had 5 pirate raids in a few months after building my first colony. Is this intended? Seems very excessive. A week or two after defeating one, I would get another, and nothing seems to be stopping them. Every time, I have about 4-5 separate pirate fleets in my system every time, and even calling other faction's fleets to help me is not enough.

EDIT: The latest raid spawned at least 8 pirate fleets.
