just dont try an all fighter fleet.. i did... resulted in a restart in a new frigate losing my fighters even though i had won the battle.

That's because the pilots had nowhere to poop but in their space suites.  After a while it started to stink up too bad and they all died.

Onslaught all the way. highest armor rating in the vanilla game, 5 large ballistic mounts, very deadly if you but mjolnr cannons on them.

This sounds good, and it would be fun to take over an enemy paragon and use it against the other fleet.

I like the Onslaught. Sure, its slow, but I come from strategy games where I'm used to giving orders, instead of participating personally in the fight. So I like being the back up, being there just in case things are going down the drain.

tb brought me here too.  Multiplayer would be awesome, though it might be difficult to carry out.
