Endurance/Arcade Mode

I think it'll be easy to implement right?

We have campaign and missions on front menu, add an gameplay mode called "Endurance" or "Arcade".
Or it maybe even an new type of fleet simulation?

-You chose one of your saves from campaign mode.
-Goes straight to the battle.
-The game engine keep trowing enemies into the battle every time you disable anything.
-Each ship you disable give X score points.
-Each new wave of enemies makes the gameplay harder.
-Get an little exp for the selected campaign maybe?

-Put an big and neonized scoreboard on the finish.

Please? =D

I wouldn't expect this sort of thing in the base game.  That said, there is an arcade mode mission included in the SS+ mod; that won't let you pick what ship(s) you're using, but otherwise sounds like exactly what you're asking for here.

Exactly, the main point is to use an fleet you had build.

This will also require freezing the CR level, otherwise it will limit your survival time.

*cough* Starsector+'s arcade mode complete with unique boss enemies/ships, and a scoring/point system *cough*

Of course, both these options fail to allow for a user-defined fleet as OP requests, but still...
