This is a minor combat alteration mod that causes shield upkeep to produce a small amount of hard flux based on the shield's upkeep.
The main intent is to reduce the ability to keep shields running for prolonged periods, whether under attack from beams, or else not under any strain at all.
Raised shields produce 25% of their shield upkeep in hard flux by default. Stabilized shields cut this rate in half. Hard flux dissipation might neutralize this effect.
I mainly made this to give stabilized shields a purpose for existing, and to make shields slightly less of a hard counter for beams.
