I think this is from an Argos having Converted Fighter Bays. Currently it crashes, sorry. Next release will have it fixed.

Love the ships and the fighters! Thank you for the mod! I always gotta save them from getting wiped in my playthroughs though  :'(

You updated this mod but did not update the RetroLib mod that this mod requires.
If it still works then people just update the version requirements so it doens't appear yellow or red in the game.

Hey there, I've had the same problem and found a temporary fix until the mod gets updated, this seems to be a compatibility issue between Roider and the Titans of Industry update of AotD Vaults of Knowledge, for some reason any ship with the Midas hullmod causes a crash when it appears on the custom production interface, you can avoid this crash by removing the MIDAS hullmod from every Roider ship in the mod hulls folder, its easier with notepad++ search and replace function, just go to that folder and replace every "roider_midas", with an empty space (im not sure if using #to simply comment out the hullmod works since its .ship file) make sure to make a backup of that folder in case you need or want to revert any changes, disabling Titans of Industry in the Vaults of Knowledge settings also fixes the problem.

No. It is from an Argos with the Converted Fighter Bays hullmod. If you are going to edit files, don't gut the mod when you can just fix one thing.


Next update should be soonish with this bug fixed among others.

Hey im unsure how the crash log works but i think your mod might have crashed my game. Something wrong with the fighter clamps description it seems. I was looking at hullmods when it the crash happend and i got a Fatal: Null error. Here is the error log if it helps. Love the mod , i enjoy space mining as a concept so the mod is a must have for me, quite sad that it seems to have to be disabled for this playthrough  :(

That is weird. You either have Fighter Clamps on a fighter or somehow vanilla passed null for the ship's hull size.

I will prevent this crash from happening in the future.

It might be beacause i was looking at the hullmods of a arma armature mech. The mod has like playable fighters. Maybe it is coded in a diffrent way from normal ships and interacts badly with the hullmod?

Added a new heavy destroyer and fast flare drone to keep enemies off your heavy hitters! Made some tweaks and fixes to make Gambit, Wrecker, and Telamon more enjoyable to fly. Removed slowdown from having multiple Wreckers in your fleet and fixed various crashes.

 New Features
 - Renamed variants to roider-style names
 - Renamed Roider Union mercenary fleets with "militia" names
 - Added Montauk-class heavy destroyer - an Enforcer conversion with Fortress Shield
 - Added Glitz-class interceptor drone - it keeps a ring of flares around itself
   - Added Glitz Switch hullmod - like Tracker Swap, it changes the built-in drones on Roider ships

Is it normal that Roiders only sell Xhan ships? Normally I'd assume it's an issue with my mod setup, but I wasn't sure if the intent was Roider ships were only made available via retrofitting.

Roiders sell their ships. They even sell BPs for their ships. IDK why you are seeing Xhan stuff.

Roiders sell their ships. They even sell BPs for their ships. IDK why you are seeing Xhan stuff.

For whatever reason the Hopskips missiles are categorized as a ballistic weapon instead of a missile weapon (even though its supposed to be a missile since hazard mrms are missiles duh).  Its a very minor bug but it can affect modifiers from other mods affecting the hopskip, may want to get this checked out.
