100 Swords Kickstarter!
I came across it today, in a rather round-about way:
- I was looking for a filler to top-up my basket to the free delivery min spend (£44).
- Spotted
Province, and had no idea what it was.
- A quick Google discovered that it was a 2-player micro euro-game funded through Kickstarter and developed by laboratory.
- Soon after I found laboratory's latest kickstarter project, 100 Swords.
- There ends the story. Isn't the interconnectedness of The Internet great!
Anyhow, the ppl behind it have a good track record (this is their 4th kickstarter funded micro-game), and the quality of their games so far seems really high, with their ease of play belying significant strategic depth.
Backers get immediate access to a print & play copy of one of the available sets, so you don't have to wait until the planned November release to get your copy.
You could even back it, get the PaP, then if you don't like it, cancel your pledge.
Worth a look IMHO.
