I tend to agree with Schwartz and Soren, though I'd add that the frequency with which the fighter wings can be expected to need to rearm is also a consideration when deciding how many flight decks to bring. I'd tend to go with a flight deck per two bomber wings and a flight deck per four or five fighter wings.

Or die. The biggest single stressor on flight decks is multiple interceptor wings getting mauled by real fighters.

You and Scwartz had already mentioned the survivability aspect, but hadn't mentioned the demand placed on hangar bays by craft which need to rearm after every run. Hence 'also a consideration' rather than mentioning rearming frequency as though it's the only consideration, and also why I didn't specifically mention survivability - the two of you had handled that in the preceding two posts.
