Have you considered allowing multiple votes per person? Given that the sample size isn't likely to be huge, I think you might get more meaningful results that way.

For some reason that choice has to be set by a moderator, both that and the option of allowing folks to reset their own votes are walled off???

Hm, confirmed that this is the case. That's really odd, and what's odder is I'm not seeing any option in the permissions that would control that. Did see that the moderators didn't have the permission to edit polls; fixed that, at least.

@Everlazy: let me know if you'd like me to tweak the poll any.

I'd love it if people could change their votes and have multiple votes.  I'm not sure if you can do it or not, but 4 votes per person would be awesome.

The main reason was to allow me to see them all.  I'm worried that some will die off before I can really interact with them.  4 or 5 seemed like a safe place to start with.

May I suggest that the Knights Templar are added as a 5th faction for the endgame challenge and for the viewers?  They're the flashiest faction in that whole bunch (even more so than exigency), and you don't have to worry about overwhelming yourself since you generally don't use their ships/weapons.

That sounds like a good idea Dark.  So I simply add them in at some point later in the game, prior to the elimination of the last 1 or 2 factions?

Meso, I really like common radar, but I find myself not looking at it all the time.  I constantly forget it's there lol.  I'll bring it back for the series though and see how I do with it. :)

Exerelin doesn't spawn any faction not present at the start, so if you want them to spawn, the mod has to be enabled when you begin.

Well, you could enable the faction respawn function, but this will affect everyone, not just Templars.

You can manually add Templars to an existing game using the SetClosestMarketOwner console command, if you want to do that kind of stuff. (Picking the unlucky saps to give up their markets to someone else without a fight is left an exercise for the producer.)

I'll give them all the markets in a particular sector from my own markets when there are 2 opposing factions left.  Then leave them alone until I finish the other 2 factions, or they start messing with me. :)  Templar stuff is really that strong?  I can't wait to see them.
