After seeing the responses in this thread I reset the poll and put every possible faction that is compatible with Nexerelin on it.  This will ensure everyone has a chance to vote for their favorite faction.  Thanks for taking the time to vote and respond.

My current Let's Play series is coming to an end soon(within a week or so).  I'd like to get a vote from everyone on which 4 or 5 factions they'd like to see in my next series.  I have not yet decided how I will choose which of the 4 or 5 I will play, but I'll make sure it's unique.  All the faction mods are amazing.  The time put into the lore, art, and everything else is great.  I'd love to play them all in this next series, but honestly it'll be too much.  I may never even see one if they die off before I get to them.

Also, I plan to add Knights Templar when I am down to the remaining 2 opposing factions.  So if you voted for them, you could maybe remove that vote and choose another faction to support?

At this point I plan to play Exigency during the campaign.  Towards the end of the campaign(assuming I make it that far) I'll give away a market or multiple to the Knights Templar.

Blackrock, Mayorate, Shadowyards and Exigency are the big 4 IMO. They aren't kitbashed and their stuff is fun.

Integrated or not integrated don't change much in Nexerelin... Even with just SS+ it's perfectly viable because Dark.Revenant was very cautious in making most of his work compatible with any other mod.

Also please don't do yet another Blackrock play-through! Don't take me wrong, Cycerin's stuff is awesome and of a quality every modder should strive for. But people are obsessed with it, and it has been highlighted so many times to the point that no other mods seems to exist. I never saw an Exigency play-through for example.

Of course, I'm here voting for my own sorry butt. I've always considered Citadel to be a great early game punching-bag, since most of their smaller ships lack the ability to sling 6 harpoons at your overloaded ship. If you make allies, you'll find their cruisers are great if you pilot them yourself.

I think Exi is Meso's phylactery at this point.

Voted Exigency.  They deserve the spotlight.

Be warned: if you start as them, it will be a difficult playthrough because you get a very slow start.  You really need a pack of ships to do well with Exigency, but once you do, it's glorious.

Have you considered allowing multiple votes per person? Given that the sample size isn't likely to be huge, I think you might get more meaningful results that way.
