Does missile specialisation work on torpedoes?

My first guess is that torpedoes don't benefit from it as it is called MISSILE specialisation but I just want to make sure.

Yes.  Missile Specialization and Fast Missile Racks work on anything that is normally mounted in missile mounts.  Harpoons, Sabots, Reapers, Atropos, etc.  Reapers become extremely powerful with Missile Specialization 10.
