Right at the top we can see a planet and spaaaaaace so that has me thinking Starsector and then we have an emblem that looks like it could go side by side with the current Starsector faction emblems; It's most likely part of the flag of a new faction!

Even more, notice it's purple and in a previous twitter posting that Alex retweeted - https://twitter.com/amosolov/status/523875642975485952 - we have that little gem. Hmm, David is making them purple, the emblem is largely purple. Hmmm.

The purple is related to the Sindrian Diktat. Alex is referring to the note Baumgart left inside the file on line 3

I also have a feeling that David Baumgart was responsible for some of the system files, in particular though the Magec system. Excerpts:

No, no! This is the flag of a race of humans that colonized a far off sector long ago and are only just now entering into our playable sector! The unusual radiation from the star of their home system has caused genetic mutations resulting in a strange hue to their skin and are arguably human no more! Their technology is also highly unique and never before seen in the Domain of Man!

But seriously, how awesome would it be if Alex and David brought in another faction that are highly enigmatic and come along with a unique set of ships/tech? I think it'd be pretty awesome.

While I would *love* to put the Human Hive into Starsector, I believe the rights to Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri are caught in some kind of terrible limbo, so no such luck. In the meantime, please enjoy these uplifting quotations from Chairman Sheng-ji Yang.
