operating one bomber wing per flight deck is a prudent, conservative strategy.
I am starting to imagine 6 dagger wings facing off the enemy fleet... and probably win if they can use their Reapers on ships as small as destroyer sizes. Would need heavy and multirole fighters to contend with frigates.

14 Fighters + 2 Atrals seems very under-fightered to me, unless they are all bombers. I generally go 3:1 fighters to carriers without a problem.

I was wondering about miljan's force mix, also. To me, his pair of Astrals sound significantly underused. Otherwise, operating one bomber wing per flight deck is a prudent, conservative strategy.
I have 50% bombers/50% fighters (if I went only bombers I would not be able to kill anything than the bigger ships). If I would use one Astral I can not get all my fighters to be rebuild, because they die very fast again 3 onslaught (until they use all the missiles), and as I build my fleet to fight the strongest fleet, having one Astral is very little (when your not fighting the strongest fleet I use only one). Another thing because Astral  is somewhat strong, it can be close to the action. And last I can not have more fighters, because of logistic will go under 100%. Warning, I am talking about verson before this.

The new version is a lot easier as you can now have a lot more  fighters (if you can find them) than before, but I am still on beginning in a frigate.
