[.65a-RC1] Fragile Engines

This had been discussed in a thread the General forum, but I wanted to make sure it got its limelight.

Engines appear to be maliciously fragile now, even though the patch notes claim they should be tougher. Low-Tech interceptors and single missiles can flameout a Hammerhead in a single pass.

On the flip side, they also seem to restart much faster than before (about 4-5 seconds on my frigates). Is that intentional?

Already tripled engine health in the dev build :) Not sure what went wrong, but, yeah.

As far as the restart time, it's ~8 seconds for frigates. Don't remember if I changed it for this release or not, but that's the intended value, give or take a few.
