Weapon shows damage option

Just thought it would be handy to have an option in the .WPN file to show damage on it or not. This is mostly intended for decorative weapons that are so handy for making animated ship parts and things, but having them always look pristine is a bit annoying.

Good call. Added "showDamageWhenDecorative".


Note that this won't work well for really large decorative weapons, as only 4 damage decals are used for weapons. They'd cover about as much of the center of a large decorative weapon as the size of a large vanilla weapon.

Now that's useful but we meant to hide the decals on weapons and decoratives ... ah, close enough  ::)

Huh? I don't think so, if you re-read the OP, I'm pretty sure that's what it's talking about.

There are already no decals on decorative weapons. Er, rather, there are no damage decals on weapons in "type":"DECORATIVE" slots.

Oh, my bad, sorry.

But being able to hide the decals on non-decorative weapons would be useful as well.

Noooo problem.

But being able to hide the decals on non-decorative weapons would be useful as well.

I could see that being useful, but it's trickier on my end. Not something I can just add in and mostly-assume after some limited testing that I didn't horribly break everything.
