Any ideas what 0.7 is going to bring?

So what's it gonna be? More incremental changes such as more star systems, more ships and balancing/tweaks?

Or is it going to have new things like a very early version of industry? Perhaps new mechanics like trade, crafting or gathering?

I guess the devs don't want to reveal anything until it hits the patch notes but is it looking more like the first or second option?

Pretty sure it will not be more systems or ships in significant number.

My bet is on officers for the next big new feature. Establishment of outposts is another candidate.

I think with all of the prblems that CR brought, if .6.2 doesn't bring out any basic economy, then it will most likely be that. But I'm hoping for officers and a sooner than SoonTM release date.

Besides Officers (that feature is a given in the near future), I would hope for the first draft of the economy system.

What that might be like, exactly, I have no idea. Though I'd certainly like it to be kept somewhat abstract similarly to supplies/CR; generic resource goes in, fleets/weapons/ships/supplies come out.

Perhaps a little diplomacy could be introduced with that; bringing resources to a hostile station could give an option to 'abandon' them nearby for a small relations boost.

I'm getting ahead of myself, but that's what I would like to see.

The biggest item on my wish list for .7 (or .62) is to just have native support for changing prices. Everything else we can mod in, but we can't change the price (from inside the game) of supplies, crew, or fuel at the moment.

Probably that new ship, 2 deck midline carrier. I hope there are even more ships to come!
