There's no way to say this without sounding judgemental, but to be honest, I find the KSP community to be flawed. Perhaps it's mostly down to the examples of very poor or at least inconsistent moderation that I've gotten an opinion of, but I'm worried that users that get away with breaking the rules there may come here and expect the same treatment.
I also feel that the community so far has, at least for the vast majority, attracted a constructive audience of mature users that in a way even seems to have a natural immunity from some of the stupidity that floats around the internet. Please don't take that as me saying the KSP fanbase is stupid, but there if this forum explodes in popularity I feel that the charm of seeing familiar names all the time will be lost, and with it the sense of stability in the community. Granted, this is likely going to happen anyway, but I would like to see a graceful increase in the popularity of the forum so that the moderators and such can more easily adapt to the changes. If there's any criticism I have of the community as it is right now, I have experienced what I felt was elitism to an extent and this is why I have not taken part in the forum much for a while.
Of course you're welcome to disagree with any of my points, I'm not trying to offend or challenge anyone, just saying how I see things at the moment.
