I noticed during an inventory dump at the raider station that they had elite and veteran crew in their inventory, listed at "0". I tried buying one to see what would happen, and all my elite crew were deleted, replaced by the "0". My logistics rating responded oddly, going back to optimal levels despite my bloated fuel and cargo holds. The crew with the "0" entry in the raider station was removed by my "purchase", though no money had actually been exchanged.
