Bugfix
* Reduced Caliph over-spinning when the pilot overturned during a ship system or gets burned driven by an enemy capital ship.
+ Fixed Ram Jet bug where it did not flameout nearby enemy fighters.
* Adjusted Ram Jets AI being too reckless with its usage. (Disabled a case where it would die in its last final charge as a martyr)
+ Adjusted Flux Injector AI not being more liberal with its usage when it is shield shunted.
Qamar Insurgency
* Qamar Insurgency HQ now spawns 2 light patrols and 1 heavy fleet (as opposed to 3 light patrols and 1 medium fleet)
Campaign
+ Kadur Hardened Populace grants +50 flat Ground Defenses
+ Revenant Gestalt is given a 1-year grace period of no invasions (New saves only!)
+ Star Fortress Requiem is given a 2-year grace period of no invasions (New saves only!)
Eagle (K)
+ DP reduced from 22 DP to 18 DP (for future 0.96a changes, but no further buffs aside from that).

Also please adjust the prophet ship system AI because it just spams the boost whenever it's ready which always makes it either end up dead or killing it's friends by ramming them.
Ok adjusted, hopefully, it spams less if necessary.


Also am I the only one who noticed that Sunbird AI is a bit strange? Even though I only equip it with pd and Missiles, it loves facehugging the enemy and die. I wish it would just stay missile range and just throw missiles from a safe distance
I'm aware that it needs a long-range non-missile gun so it knows to keep its distance. Otherwise, it'll try to close the distance. You could also place a more cautious officer on it to help with this.


Hi I have a couple of questions:

1-What are the requirements to spawn caliph bounty?
2-Where can I find the new secret ship mentioned in the latest patch? I explored the whole universe but I couldn't find it
1- The Last Crusade requires you to be Cycle 212, Level 15 (or max level whatever you modded), 100+ FP (very achievable hopefully by Cycle 212? this is like 3 capital ships or 7 cruisers equivalent of fleet power). Then visiting the Hegemony bars for a bounty on them (MagicLib) or being generally non-hostile to Hegemony (Vayra's Sector).
2-They are only found in Qamar patrols. They do not appear in the whole universe nor do their BPs exist? because they're basically a limited Qamar ship?

Thank you for the update! amazing work! Thanks to you Kadur are very fun to play with. I am now playing a kadur only playthrough and this is my second attempt *after the updates) and let me tell you ude you managed to make this faction very fun!

I dunno the prerequisites but there is a Caliph bounty... Might be that you need "Vayras sector" or "Locked and loaded" (bounties :D) mods to spawn them.

E: Yep, the link has all the info, the bottom bounty "Last Crusade" is probably the Caliph one.
E2: Ahh, yes, just magiclib, locked and loaded isn't needed I guess... But I like bounties. ;D

The Qamar Insurgency patrols are patrols flagged as Kadur outside of the Revenant Gestalt base.

Aside from what Dadada has said, the Caliph is rather still alive and needs someone on the bounty board to track it for you.

Hey, not sure where to post this but ...

Whenever I use the combination of Kadur Remnant (3.2.3 support 7) & Industrial Evolution (3.2.c), the pirate faction spawns excessive pirate raids (15+) from the Gehenna Star System (Where Star Fortress Requiem, Tortuga and Perdition Outpost are located).

Enabling developer mode in the game settings seems to drastically speed up the process of pirate raid spawns, with raids spawning instantaneously from Tortuga.

The result is that the whole sector is overwhelmed with pirate armadas & raiders and every faction is unable to deploy patrols, traders, etc ...

Is there something I can tweak in the mod settings? Really love these two mods.

Edit: Removing the 'Privateer Base' industry (included in Industrial Evolution) assigned to Tortuga seems to have fixed this issue. Setting 'pirateHaven' to 'FALSE' in the Industrial Evolution mod folder settings (data/config/settings) has the same effect. No idea why this only happens when Kadur Remnant is enabled alongside.

Hey - I'm lazy so I just used devmode to zip over to Tortuga and manually remove the privateer base from the colony menu at the start. I tried removing a section in KadurGehennaSystem relating to adding Tortuga's piratehaven industry from IndEvo but that did not stop the privateer base from appearing.

Edit: I'm new to modding Starsector and am most assuredly overlooking something, there might be more in the KadurRemnant.jar, hopefully someone else can chime in with advice.

Since a couple of the mission rewards involve governorship availability, is it possible to get Oasis's governorship once you conquer it in the name of Kadur?

disregard what i said earlier the mod works with magiclib 1.1 and modinfo change. i have not tested everything but so far it works fine.
