You are aware that this mod hasn't had a real update (And by that I mean content and rebalancing) in any way shape or form in quite a long while right? As it stands we just have basic compatibility, when he's able to balance, considering his needs for a coder, or at least documentation it may be a while.

Welp, I've made headway in re-implementing the campaign. Now I'm stuck at trying to solve a null pointer exception. Anyone wanna take a look at the files?

I'd love to but that same thing crushed my modding dreams to pieces. Wait on the benevolence of a local coding god. All you have to do is say their name and click your mouse 3 times. You have a good mod that you've put a lot a work in so I'm sure someone will answer.

Exactly what are you doing when it null points you?

That looks like you set a few values to zero which cannot be zero like that width. Must be somewhere in you're sector generation code or supply fleet spawn code.
But that means that it should be working with Exerelin for example because that mod uses different code for sector an fleet generation.
I would take a look at the spawn point of the pirate fleet mentioned in the crash report.
Only a guess, I am not exactly an expert when it comes to coding issues.
Hope that might help a bit.

Is there a reason you couldn't just give it more speed on the ship_stats file? Just wondering.

It is. I originally just made the Phoenix Rising mission to test all of the hulls.

I added a few new sound effects, a new weapon, and a new ship. It's called the Emperor-class Regicide Dreadnought. It exists only to kill Sovereigns. Still fine-tuning the star systems and weapon graphics. Expect release in one week.


The Emperor-class Regicide Dreadnought final loadout is still under deliberation. It's basically a specialized ship that brings anti-Sovereign firepower to the battlefield. But, it will carry four Demolisher Assault Cannons.

The current release does not yet have campaign implementation. Next release will add two, possibly three star systems: Armestia and Far Away.
