Yes, i also think the Constructor is a bit OP and needs to be less overwhelming.
I want to have a super large massive 'construction' ship, which also has lots of firepower but i think that will be a new capital ship.
The second ship Basher (destroyer) can be easily destroyed but has decent firepower as well.
I need to think about the weapons which i want included - i'm not sure if i can simply use weapons from other mods and implement them and that they will stay compatible, even if these weapons from other mods get updated.
(But yes, it would be awesome if the build-in are truly unique!)
And last the support-fighter Tirade - i really like them strong, but maybe because i would like fighters to be stronger overall.
I could change to the scorpion missile.
But if this wing is cornered they can be shot down quite fast - they aren't that fast or that maneuverable.
Maybe i should remove the shield anyway...

Thanks, i did want to create a faction that has some new things to offer.
I'll start with frigates - although i really would want to design some massive capital ships, i understand the importance of frigates.
I have 2 ideas about the playstyle - i'm not sure if i should mix them, or choose one.
1. Construction and mining
With this playstyle 'construction' has the overhand which means more traditional combat, mining lasers/ and large ballistic guns and a broad diversity of support stuff going on.
The faction will have quite a lot of firepower, but really needs skill to use all of it (due to flux limitations).
Armor and cargo-holds are above average due to the heavy mining work, but the (top)speeds will be sub par.
For the larger ships it will be more about endurance and working hard to use the right weapons, systems and venting.
For the smaller ships it will be more about maneuvering and moving in for the kill at the right time.
An idea for a ship-system is a (one-time) total reload for all weapons to give a large construction ship more endurance.
2. Corporate and (diverse) technology
Due to the vast mining empire of the iX Corporation this faction has connections in the farthest star-systems and has given them some truly unique skills and weapons.
The ships have been improved upon, over and over again - resulting in a fleet with upgraded and expanded ships, which contain old and new tech.
In this case the ships can have more unique rolls to play, and have more unique specialties (some highly agile fighters and some highly armored battleships).
So think more of unique hull-mods, ship-systems and weapons, but all with the basics of standard (mining) ships.
There will be some platform-style ships which are meant for defending mining locations, and there will be exploration ships with more speed and special abilities.
In this idea an playstyle can be very varied.
