So im having the same problem. Issue is, the file that is having the error, and specifically the line i get as the source of the error, has NOT been modified since the initial, working release. So bear with me, it make take a bit for me to solve this issue.

Anyone who has a good working knowledge of how the different functions within ship systems and related scripts, please hit me up on Skype. my Skype name is nexusvamp. Anyone who wishes to give me their thoughts and ideas for this mod, you are more than welcome to PM on Skype as well. if you need help with your mod, or just want to brainstorm, I have an open ear.

Thank you to Alex for creating this game and giving me a wonderful platform to build my Star Wars mod, and to the community that has already been amazingly helpful.

Bump for v1.6, link is UNDER main text. v1.5 has the Fighter Drone systems, v1.6 does not. Working on getting thins to run smoother. 1.5 causes massive lag sadly.

Error with version 1.6 at startup
No other mod other than yours and lazylib running , but also happens if it´s the only one.

Fatal: Fatal: ship_systems.csv is missing systems.
They spoiler contains text before and after the error. maybe you need it because the last 2nd spoiler looks confusing to me

-I think the sound are to loud due to the amount of lasers ;D ... maybe you can tune them down a bit
also maybe you should half the rate of fire and double the damage ( might not be accurate and "cool" but would reduce the amount of cpu power needed )
 
-the Nebulon B frigate is way to strong for a frigate .. or the rebel blockaderunner to weak ...
if you plan to keep the nebulon B as a starting frigate then the other one should be removed and ingame changed to a corvette  ( single fightership )

-shipsysten : fighterscreen is ok , but i think it´s to many of them ... 1/4 of the current amount ( only checked on the nebulon B starting ship ) and a slow "repair rate" would be better to play with and reduce lag on slower systems

-what i think i´m yet already missing is at least being able to change my shipsmods. build in weapons is good ... you wouldn´t even be able to click the right spot.

that´s my 5ct for now .. ignore them if you don´t like them  ;D

either way : keep it up .. this is going to get awesome

thanks for the feed back. download v1.6. Separate link under the main text for 1.6. Doesn't have the ship systems and some other errors fixed. Main download link is v1.5

Version 1.5 now locked pending further development of the ship systems. 1.6 is stable, should not be any issues. If one is found please let me know.

So Somehow i managed to delete a portion pf my OP, and in doing so lost the change-log  from 1.0-1.1-1.2. if anyone has that info PM me please. i keep over-writing my change log files in my folder.....witch i didnt realize before a few minutes ago. so the history of changes doesnt have everything, and I kinda want it. any help would be appreciated.

2.0 Progress update:

Sound levels for weapons have been adjusted. Several new weapon sounds will be added to give more variety between weapon types/sizes. Harder to notice on big ships but will be noticeable on ships with fewer guns. Best part is, the sounds wont melt your eardrums anymore.
