I do like the look of that station thingy, very well made, but it's not in style with star sector.

this point is invalid, kitbashing same hulls have nothing with style.

artwork can be fixed or replaced, main part is concept.

Most of this stuff is not "amazing". Everything is pretty much a more complex version of what we already have.

well i am agreeing on everything is replaceble, but that makes coding also replaceble.
i found that both are equally important for a mod.
if you say there mods are amazing i say i dont think so because i dont like there style.
even though the coding might be amazing ,that doesnt make the mod amazing.

That giant blue saucer battlestation would probably turn my processor into slag the second it started shooting ;p

Anyway it looks somewhat cool.

And the giant space submarine sending planes...

I'm guessing it will end up in a larger WW2 mod since it kinda looks like Kaga or Akagi before it got refurbished.
And the "drones" look a bit like Zeros.

I stated nowhere that this stuff is "amazing", it superior to what we have on this forum.
For Modular fleet, i will try to contact original developer and if recieve permission will reimplement it on english.
Theese blue hulls after some recolor, to meet tritach color, will fit game perfectly.

scripting is not replaceble, unlike sprites;
it does not matter how scripting is done, ever if it slow and inaccurate, as long as it work you wont notice;
but large pink triangle instead of ship sprite will be noticed instantly;

@theSONY
i missed mod with minecraft like crafting directly in inventory, it really innovative and nothing similar ever appeared here.

i dont get what you just said there...
but everything in a mod is replaceble sprites coding etc.. etc...
ofcourse replacing coding and spriting will change how the mod plays and its quality.

the concept is indeed important ,the concept contains how things should act and look.
without concept there is no game/mod, but same as with spriting and coding.
you need both concept and proper execution to make something good.

btw.
DS tech corp is actually allready on this forum aswell, for a pretty long while actually.

As thehappyface  said we already have the DS Tech Corp on here, I personally don't like the WW2 submarine carrier thing (it looks ugly and not very....in style?) .

The modular fleet though, that looks amazing, though my computer would kill itself, if it went anywhere near that big blue ship,

I think you should be careful what you say about peoples mods ect they get very touchy about them, especially when they are told other peoples stuff is "Superior", we all have different ideas on what is better.

You also have not been on this forum that long (I mean that in no offence, as you joined in February), look up some of the mods with lore for example the Shadowyards, TimCORP and Thule Legacy.

We're already doing something similar. Where you can purchase blueprints to upgrade existing ships (Uomoz's Corvus + Tore Up Plenty).

Rawcode, I don't think many people appreciate you calling the Chinese mods superior because at the same time you are calling their own work inferior, and nobody likes having something they have spent months on being considered inferior... I think it would have been better for you to say that the Chinese mods are great, or awesome, because that way you don't simultaneously say that the mods here aren't as awesome.

As for the topic on hand, I do think that the Chinese mods have done some pretty awesome stuff with their systems and drones, but I kinda wish that their mods were a bit more vanilla balanced, though that last mod looks like it might be.

I did have a fun drone idea myself, guess I'll have to show it off in a bit :)
