I will say there are quite a bit but I was hoping for some more darker skinned portraits then the couple we have already, not like uganda dark but you know more brown/chocolate toned portraits.

As a black person myself I kind of dislike not having enough ethic diversity in games, pleased with the game so far though, as well as the mod support.

I absolutly dig your ship designs and artstyle. They are by far the best i have ever seen.
Oh and i wanted to ask if we may have some more racial variations for the portraits? 

Maybe you can use one of this two portraits i recently kitbashed in lack of brown toned portraits.

I checked and there are no asians. Only one or two of them only look slightly asian.

That's not to say that we couldn't use more (and varied) portraits.

Maybe instead of going all over the place in ethnicity you could focus a little. Like tou have a set of proper lookind high nose admiral types followed by sum crazy pirate scum (space Vaas anyone) rounding up some engineer sailer civilians dudes. I dont what it to be black admiral or the asian admiral so many choices. Also everyone is either overly healthy for space economic collapse or MR.Scarface is looking at your head like your its a steak dinner.

To import portraits, do I just have to put them in "starsector/graphics/portraits/" or is there more to it?

You have to replace one of the existing portraits and give your custom one its name. Format is 128x128, but the game scales for you.

I don't know if there's a way to add additional pictures without deleting anything...

I am trying to find the code where they are named e.g. "graphics/portraits/portrait_corporate01.png" so you could add another line in after the normal ones naming another portrait. (I CAN'T FIND IT )
