The Chinese community
« on: February 19, 2013, 11:56:19 AM »

Holy hell, I didn't know that they had their own forum! I feel oddly left out, and full of questions...
Are they as mad as us?
Do they regard multiplayer etc with such taboo?

Let the speculation begin! (Hopefully)

they are madder than all but a select few of us.

they show no evidence of regarding mp with such taboo, at least from preliminary examination.

I think they have a system where only people who they can verify as having bought the game legit can get their unofficial Chinese version of the game. The specifics I don't know though

It's still not legal, distributing a cracked copy of the game is not allowed

Right, and for that reason I'd prefer it if you'd all skip that particular topic in the discussion. And with "prefer" I mean don't.

Other than that the thread is fine. It's really strange to have such an isolated neighbor community.

I deleted all posts after this because they were still circling around pirated copies. Let that topic go now so the discussion about the mods and content of the Chinese board can go on.

Minecraft is a strange beast TOS wise, Notch thought it best not to limit what People could do to the game (he is a member of the Swedish pirate party) Alex likes his core code the way it is.  It is a mater a personal opinion.

but ya,

BACK ON TOPIC!

The Chinese community it rather freaking awesome look what Xangle13 has contributed in like 26 posts
