Imagine a world (Kickstarter game)
« on: January 15, 2013, 11:40:01 AM »

Saw this game on KS and thought that it could be epic, but so far, it has gotten very little publicity, and is mostly unknown. So i thought i'd post it here, and perhaps give it a few more backers, eh? Any publicity is good publicity, they say. :)

You imagine it. And, no, will not be pledging.

The game didn't really seem like anything I couldn't play now (Planetside 2 comes to mind).

Also, the page is littered with grammatical errors. Not a big deal usually, but when you are asking for 300,000 euros you had better take the time to make sure your page is perfect.

Can't say this one sticks out to me either. Primarily, I don't like the time period. To follow, I don't like the subscription requirement.

Then as stated, they seem to have grammatical issues. If your going to ask for $450,000 for a prototype

then I'd expect to see more professionalism.

That is quite possibly the worst kickstarter I've ever seen.

I'm definitely not supporting this. They don't seem to have anything besides a few pieces of concept art and a pie-in-the-sky idea that basically boils down to "Planetside 2 in the 30s".
Also, the worst name possible for a WW2-esque wargame.

Meh, it'll probably become something too high-end for me to play (like that "Star Citizen" junk :P)

I mean, if I can't play it on a laptop, there's no reason for me to back. :P WWI and WWII is my kind of game, but I just don't see this as an alternative to Planetside.

Lol, as I said in my last post, I also feel that way. I almost wanna make my personal quote

Basically, they're just copying ideas from all over the place. What you pledge for here is essentially a promise. I doubt they're going to reach it, ever.

Yes, there actually is. Because, if you where to care, they might advance the game development in a certain way that would allow you to play.

Sorry for double post.

I thought Wildman by Gas Powered Games (Supreme Commander anyone?) looked like a much better use of my money.

It looks like an interesting mix between an RPG and a..... MOBA/RTS it seems.

Certainly better, but I did not quite get what the gameplay will be like, either. Something like Spellforce?

The game was completed 8 years ago and we get a free expansion every year.

Arranging holidays in an embrace with the Starsector is priceless.
