This may of been asked already but I want to be sure.
A game key can be used however many times its needed, right?

in a nutshell I wanted to activate starfarer on a few computers.

I keep the game on a usb, and usually carry it to school. unfortunately it means I have to activate the game on any new computer i use...
Is this a problem at all?

Not a problem in terms of being able to activate. It is going to leave copies of your key in the registry of every computer you've activated on, though.

He should be able to delete the key from the registry of the school computer, right? Regardless, a good IT employee should clean the registry of the school computers every once in a while.

Yeah - it's in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JavaSoft\Prefs\com\fs\starfarer\serial.

were set up on win server type deal so i log into whatever computer i'm on. Don't tn think any user data carries over to another account.
I use the same computers too so it wont be on a whole bunch all over the school.  A user cant even get access to any registry either so it shouldn't be able to be lifted... i think. 

Just making sure its ok with you, im graduating this year anyway so my account, along with the rkeys, will be deleted within a year.
