New fighters for High tech

will there be heavy fighter like the gladius for the high tech people...seems all the have is wasp interceptor and gladius seems to mop the floor with most things

its just...i dont think the Xyphos should be the only one for an advanced fighter...something with rapid fire lasers instead of a laser thats fast...i dont know...there should be one more

Sounds great, I love me some shiny new ships! :)  Quick question though, this has likely been answered elsewhere, but there are no plans to allow direct piloting of fighter/bomber groups right?  I don't really feel strongly about the topic either way, but I just wanted to double check my memory.  :)

well...the hyper velocity shoots far...why not..make a high tech fighter..that shoots a long laser thats small...maybe it can be a beam or single fire...whichever goes well...maybe it can be a bigger fighter ships thats bulky, slow and weak armor...but has sheilds....but that still leaves the fact the..there should be another close quarter heavy fighter....hmm..

Yeah, no plans. It's kind of fun, especially with the rest of the wing lining up on you, but it opens up cans of worms I'd rather leave unopened. You could make an entire game around piloting a fighter wing.

Maybe something for the sequel when Starfarer becomes incredibly popular and ends up outselling Skyrim?  ;D

talons are easy....they suck...but can be produced in large numbers....so...any ideas on a new heavy fighter for high tech?

Funny note about that, I actually made a smaller version of the autopulse laser by copying the file of the original and tweaking it a bit, and I'm not a real modder or anything, but it was a pretty fun gun.  :)

So I support the general concept of a small energy slot autopulse laser version.   ;D
