Battle Report
SV1 Has been decimated; upon arrival in Huske, the Arcion Pirates were tracked down and engaged; SV1 was quickly brushed aside by the enemy Sunder - soon after SV1 was engaged by an Enforcer class vessel under IPMF command with surprisingly similar results.
Both these battles were lost, they should have been much closer to victory than they were, especially with our competent (regular)crew, However, It seems that not only are our computer systems (AI) performing far below expected levels, failing to use the appropriate manuevers, but weaponry is also an issue - even without the recent downgrade(shield nerf) to our shield systems we would have been hard pressed to withstand the unexpectedly popular needler weapons in this sector with such weak hulls. On our side the inefficient use of Annihilator rockets and short range of energy weapons is more detrimental than initial calculations indicated.
Not only are we ineffective against enemy fleets alone, we are also subject to assault by any number of enterprising mercenaries - and our reason for being so poorly armed is now moot, as the Hegemony has issued a sector wide bulletin for our termination, Not the warmest reception.
Thankfully, it seems the hegemony has some enemies to hinder them in contested space - the Exar 4th Outreach fleet, a group seeking to curtail Hegemony expansion; joining may offer some protection against groups seeking easy pickings like SV1, and considering their own history in Huske, they are likely to accept the numbers.
As for our individual effectiveness, any changes(Skip/refit or no change+fleet action participation) will have to wait pending Exar Fleets Response to our request.
