Activation Code
« on: November 30, 2011, 09:32:44 PM »

I have read in previous posts it can take a while to receive it, and it is not stated how it will be received.
So I'm just basically asking to find out if there is a quicker way to get it due to the fact I have Uni in 35 minutes :P
And also I assume it will arrive in via email?
Kinda sounds stupid now, kinda freaking out since I've waited a while for it ;3

Anyway. Game really looks good. Watched the game play Video and the graphics are very nice. And Once the game is further a long in development it's content and playability will increase significantly I'm sure.

Edit: Got it! Took 2hrs30mins. Better than a few peoples :P

Also reading through "The State Of Affairs" I Believe I spotted a few typos.

The only way colonies could build new war materiel was to rely on autofactories programmed with the correct blueprints. ::"Materiel" is spelt Material.::

A priori knowledge of concepts helped the colonists make progress, but they lacked many of the blueprints... ::"priori" should be Prior I assume.

There was another I think, but I can't find it :/
I'll take another look through now.
These are compared to the English(UK) spellings. :3
Was fun to read.

Fair enough, I'm not old enough to have a knowledge of latin :P

"Materiel" is also right.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Materiel

Enjoy the game.
And Fair enough, apologies, Didn't realise both Material and Materiel where individual words :O

And I am thanks, Hard to get the hang of controls and the tactics needed for the tougher missions. It is a great game though, nice challenge!

Yeah, some of the missions are quite tough. I still haven't been able to win the one where you need to escape. But a very good game, and that's while we're still only having access to the single missions. When we get the campaign...  ;D

I've only done the 1st + 2nd missions, been doing Random battles to get my skill up because I'm not too good, Plus I like the flagship you get in'em. >.<

And ikr. The Full release is going to be Epic!

Welcome to the forums, Dovahkiin.

Thank you for caring enough to post regarding typographical errors. While not errors in this particular case, I am sure other ones will make it past our QA team. Which is me and Alex :)

Also, we are using US English in general, even though I have a personal affinity for armour and colour, since they remind me of Games Workshop writing. ;D

Although, 'a priori' is usually used in a technical philosophical sense, and it's unclear whether it fits in this case. The domain of a priori knowledge is generally restricted merely to logical inference, whereas things like scientific knowledge are most often considered a posteriori in nature.

Mathematics are also a priori though, so maybe that's what it was referring to.

Thank you very much.
I don't tend to spot things unless something is clearly wrong, but typo's I do. Although I will start googling the typo in case it's just some crazy latin or a word I don't know lol. If it seems incorrect, Then I shall say.

US English, good to know. Although the only words I know that're different between the two UK, and US, is colour and armour lol

Anyway, It's good to be here. 'tis a very nice community you got here!

FUS RO DAH! Greetings to you, Dovahkiin, and welcome to the forums! Glad you didn't have to wait too long for your key to arrive. I got very lucky (instant), some people have had to wait a much longer time.

Have fun!

Is there a way to get your key resent? I recently had to switch computers and I was wondering if there was a way to get my key again as the other computer that my copy of starfarer was on got bricked along with the notepad file with the key in it :(

Just shoot me an email (fractalsoftworks [at] gmail [dot] com) from the address you used to buy the game. Sorry to hear about your computer!
