Gladly, i did really like most of the ships, although i must ask, is there a reason that the only ships implemented are capitals and a super heavy freighter?
Are smaller ships planned to flesh out the fleets? i severely hope so because the capitals are a lot of fun, although compared to vanilla ships quite over powered.

To balance that if you don't want to dim the lights a bit so to speak the capitals should be massively rare and or expensive.

Also i do like that for testing purposes (or at least i hope so) that you put all the ships added into the starting dialogue to try them out.

The last thing i have to say is that the idea that everything is trying to murder you is quite possibly one of the greatest things ever, although there is an issue with the hegemony trying to kill you as well, the main issue being that you spawn on their planet next to a giant defense fleet this will be an issue once you remove the giant fleet of capitals for you to choose from at the beginning

The ships that are currently in the game now are the unique ships, designed as a kind of mini boss fleet. They will and do patrol around on their own. If you cap Elaine of these puppies in the full version you either have an epic support vessel or main ship, or you have a hell of alot of money to play with.

Regarding the current spawn point. I am looking to have that changed, but have no idea how to do so, any hints on that would be fantastic.

Check the current version i got on Star Control, you see the Probes faction spawns on random locations, thats what ur aiming right?

May I direct you here and here for some full fleets of ships.
If you want to use these, Sprog, I can tweak the screenshots to a blank background. Or you could just open them up in shipmaker and do it yourself. Whatever works best.

A blank background would be preferable, if you don't mind? I was also looking to get some new weapons, do you think you could sprite a few?
