Color scheme is sick! These ships look great, well done.

I don't know if this has been brought up, but high capacitance storage has only two planets that actually consume it. Is that intended?

It's mostly an oversight that arose from not quite having a handle on how the current economic model in the game works. Demand for the batteries will be increased in the next version, both from increasing the base demand of the facilities needing them, and by java trickery (adding some Fabricators and Solar Arrays to a few vanilla markets)

Maybe it's just bad luck on my part but it seems that large Yardie logistics ships almost never (maybe even never?) appear on any market.
When taking the SRA commission there is a typo where the commission giver says "\n\n" in the beginning of a sentence, so I guess the line break does not trigger for some reason?

Also, is it intended for the new vectored thrusters to be that stuttery? They seem to turn off every second frame, at least on my Enil (maybe larger ships are not affected).

Edit: Just saw a Cetus in Theramin military market.

Yeah, the SRA's larger utility ships are pretty rare; I've seen a couple Delphi's and a Cetus on the open market; I don't think I've ever even seen a Minos anywhere though, and I'm not sure I've seen a Solidarity either. E: I would definitely like to fix this problem but it's not really clear why they're not showing up as often as they should.

Also, no that's not intended but I'm not sure why it's coming up with blank frames occasionally either.

In brighter news, the SRA station is coming along nicely:

What style are ya going with for your station? Good 360 coverage or wall-o-death on one side? Something else?

I assume you'll need some sort of special blueprint to build an SRA Battlestation?

Quite possibly. Well, sort of; ideally the source for SRA blueprints and some other rare stuff will be as mission rewards and the like from the Yardies. It wouldn't quite make sense for a lot of their blueprint data to just be laying around the sector, after all.

Of course, I've got to get those missions set up first.

I haven't quite decided the coverage, but given that one of the sides will be basically a massive fighter bay it probably will have a "wall of death" aspect similar to the midline station; it'll take some experimenting since the idea, and the feeling the player should get, is less "wall of death" and more "oh god, bees!"

Played with this mod on and while i'm checking out the custom production menu, i've noticed that Shadowyard weapons get lumped in with vanilla ones (Common). Is this intentional or did you forgot to set unique tech category?

Different potential Barrago issue: they do a metric ***ton of damage. Assuming the combat analytics mod output is right, they're by far the most powerful things in my arsenal. I've been trying to pay attention in fights but don't have anything for you yet.

Edit: Eh, in play, they're not anything crazy. Is it possible that they're just registering damage even if they miss?

I'll have to check but it's definitely not intended.

Maybe? They should be too spectacular damage wise, they just should apply pressure.

In station news...

I've got the level 1 station set up now!

looks amazing! O:

really only minor criticism i've got is that the spurs don't fit very well with the smooth curves and bright colors of other SRA stuff, imo.. but that's also kind of a vanilla problem, the thin vanilla spurs kinda stand out from the rest, and not in a good way.

I dunno - thin spiky bits seems pretty on-theme for Shadowyards.  Admittedly, on most ships they're curved bits around the engine area rather than straight spikes.  But see also, say, the fronts of their larger carriers.

So is the station going to be similar in design to the midline station, just with SRA stuff like the flux system and weapons?
