when i first downloaded Starfarer my security system Norton 360 said that the installer was threat to my pc and removed the game all together, if anyone has a way around this problem please help me out here ok thank you.

Dont use Norton is the simple solution :P I am using Avast! and it is 10X better and FREE. While Norton is... ... ... bad

I have to agree with this statement. Running with AVG myself, and somehow, it works better than norton even though it's firewall is dead :P

Norton is scareware that got too big to fail. it doesnt even actually protect you from real viruses. Dump it asap. I recoment the comodo internet security suite if you want impenetrable security for some notifications.

I have an easy fix.

Step 1: Uninstall Norton
Step 2: Download Avast!
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Profit!

Yeah not using a god awful paranoid antivirus is your best bet. In nearly every game I've played I've seen Norton accuse just about everything on the face of the earth of being virus at one point or another.
