*bump* A3 has been released, featuring a new weapon the Electromagnetic Wave Gun.

I should see about learning how to sprite, so I can make some unique weapon sprites for these weapons.

Nice weapons :) But I think some of the medium are underpowered because of low fire rate

Your release with EMW gun make me to work faster on my own energy weapon mod ;D

Btw, from where you get this "ionburstcannon" sound? It's so familiar, but I can't remember... :D

Laser Weaponry A4 has been released. Heavy variants of the three basic Laser Cannon weapons now exist. I also messed around a bit with the basic laser cannons, and the Ion Burst and Ion Stream guns.

But before giving feedback to you...
If I understand correctly:
 Laser-cannons - flux effective
 Hyper-Lasers - "strike" weapons
 Rapid Laser - with high DPS
Btw, I like this differentiation, it makes navigation through all this weapons much easier ;)

Pretty much. Hyper Lasers are the "one shot one kill" weapon. Take a while to reload, do a whole ton of damage, and generate a bunch of flux. Rapid Lasers are flux-inefficient, and lower damage but they cycle much faster than normal beams. Standard lasers are flux-efficient and do decent damage, but their advantage is range. Since each modification to them sacrifices range and something to do something else.

I'm considering adding ER-versions of these weapons. More OP, more flux, but much longer reach.

Laser Weaponry A5 has been released!

This release sees the creation of 13 new weapons, bringing the total added beam weapons to almost 30(!). I never thought I'd be making so many weapons, but this mod has come quite a ways since its inception.

As always any testing and feedback is appreciated.
