Im curious what are the technologies that are considered illegal in the eyes of the Pre-Collapse Domain Of Man Before the Gates Fell?

Unregulated Artificial Intelligence.

Are gamma cores also illegal in the Domain?
Do I also need a permit for using gamma cores?

Do i also need a permit for the delta cores too (the weakest ai core)?

Time continuum alternating technology like Temporal Shell
Temporal Shell on Scarab however is and was kinda legal because of its *** terminology

Gamma Core level intelligence (heavily regulated, basing this of Explorarium)
Though Explorarium could have deployed these vessels back when regulations were less harsh considering it's thousands of years old

Beta Core & Alpha Core (just straight up illegal. But Domain still used it)

Tech that uses artificial intelligence, but it's Delta or sub-Delta level. Presumably.
Paladin PD, Tempest Drones, Dealmaker Holosuite seems to have been legal, but probably heavily regulated

High tech weapons like Dragon DEM were heavily regulated

What KoF said. I shelved "Spacer Trash" when I realized my hypothesis was wrong: at the collapse, the Sector was already awash in high tech and weaponry, it was just stuff that had been hoarded behind governmental walls which then created massive warlordism while people were trying not to starve.

I have some ideas but can't sprite worth a damn and the ideas imply really involved stuff which I've no clue how to even tackle.

not illegal per say, but Nanoforges and Catalytic Cores are not produced by private entities. But are instead labelled as Domain Restricted. The same label the Planetkiller has

Domain has most likely successfully regulated various political entities, preventing them from seceding by making it very difficult to acquire means to produce military assets and resources

It is implied that warships and guns were strictly regulated to the Domain Armada and possibly a few favored corporations. Most of the armed ships that civilians could get were armed freighters, mining ships, or science vessels. Combine that the Domain's policy of making sure no colony was entirely self-sufficient and no rebellion could take place without risking massive losses due to a lack of proper equipment.
