Talked about it in a previous post but as it still exist in the current hotfix, raising it up against just in case.

Basically in the previous version, when selecting an Officer for an Automated Ship, it will display AI Cores both in the player's fleet inventory and any in the Colony Storage if the player is docked. However, the latter no longer shows up for whatever reason, thus requiring the player to go to the Colony Storage, grab the AI Core they want, and put it in their fleet inventory for it to show up as an AI Officer option.

Thanks for the report! IIRC this is intentional (probably to resolve an issue of some kind), though I forget the details.
