So I've been a dev for an online game and one of the striking features of that was the degree to which the things were worked on as consistent priorities were almost never in alignment with what the players were generally discussing.

Assuming Alex/David are willing, would love to get a post now and then with a more general "here's how we generally perceive things going and here's where we might consider taking it" kind of thing.

While that can be an issue, the biggest thing the game needs right now is to flesh out the endgame. There's not much for the playerbase to talk about there other than pure speculation, and it's not like they can just tell us without spoiling it. So the playerbase may talk a lot about balancing, for example, but in the grand scheme "good enough" balancing is better than "perfect" balancing if it means that more dev time is being spent on content.

Still, I do like reading dev blog posts, so I would hardly complain if there were more.

I'm still a pretty junior player compared to a lot of you, and generally thinking in terms of de-genericizing bar missions in order to "make the lore live" more, because honestly the lore is compelling: it's one of the game's major strengths.

But your vision, my vision, would love to get more of an idea what their vision is.  :)
