[0.97a-RC11] ASOMod - Anime Space Opera Mod

    ASOMod
    Anime Space Opera Mod
    V 0.7 (6th march - my birthday Edition)

    Download: ASOMod

    (Requires LazyLib 2.8b)
    (Requires GraphicsLib 1.9.0)

    Should support any other mods.


    Summary:
    ASOMod stand for Anime space Opera Mod and In this mod I will put all the factions and starships of different Anime Space Operas. Actually I’ve created the United Nations Cosmo Navy and Great Garmillas Empire form Space Battleship Yamato, the UN Spacy from Macross (both original, 7 and frontier) and the Zentraedi. There is just the start of the Robotech Expeditionary Force (REF) from Robotech. I’ve also added some single ships like the blue Arcadia from Space Pirate Captain Harlock and the Nadesico from Martian Successo Nadesico.

    Sprites: from various source on Internet, if you think I got something from you write me and I will add the credits (or I will remove it if you want).
    All the image, names and sounds are from they respective Anime authors.

    Special Credits:
    Here a list of all the Mods I played and enjoyed most. I took something from them to add it to my mod.
    Dark.Revenant - is fantastic Interstellar Imperium mod: From him I took the animation and the graphic for the wave motion gun.
    Austere - and is fantastic Gundam UC Mod. I will never add Gundam Ship or Mobile Suite since this mod is already FANTASTIC! I got the Sol System from it.
    PuffyJelly - and is Musashi Manufactorum Ship and Weapon mod, another wonderful mod! I got inspiration for the shock turret from him.

    If you want me to remove from my mods your part just write me and I will do immediately.

    V 0.7 - For my birthday added the U.S.S. Enterprise D from Star Trek the Next Generation

    V 0.6 - Added the S-Nautilus from "Nadia secret of the blue water". S-Nautilus and Nadesico are now hulls known by the pirates.

    V 0.5 - Added few ships to the EDF fleet. Added blueprints for all the civilizations.

    Do you plan on adding more anime factions? Maybe Legend of galactic heroes?

    If it works like most faction mods, if you add it mid-save you might find the blueprints/ships in markets, but any custom star systems will not appear - star systems are only generated during sector generation, and far as I know, cannot be added to an already ongoing campaign.

    Yes you're right, if added in an already started game you will have the ships available (mostly from consolle since I didn't added any blueprint yet) but no factions.
    The factions are generated (with the star system tey belong to) at the start of new game

    Looking good! It reminds me of my time messing on Project Stardust. Could be something to look at if OC designs are considered ^^

    I'm trying my best to make the various ships as beautiful as possible and also consistent with the anime version (even if it's sometimes difficult because some ships like the Yamato or the Arcadia are too powerful in the anime).

    I also tried to put the ships with "consistent" sizes even if it's hard, since the Macross ones are huge compared to the Space Battleship Yamato ones.

    To all those who are using my mod I ask for "help" to optimize the ships, if you have any advice or criticism write me here or in private!
