Rebel AI planet destruction should be tweaked, at least give the player a warning that "YOUR PLANET AND ALL ITEMS ARE GONNA BE LOST IN X DAYS", just lost my main planet with a bunch of items and cores for no reason.
Encountered this event a few times also. Losing your colony is only one of the possible outcomes. How you choose to respond to initial "hack incursion" determines the overall outcome.
Spoiler
Committing fully to tracking down the source of the hack is what leads to colony destruction. Taking more cautious approach will avoid this outcome and actually improve AI admins for the colony. No idea what happens if you ignore it. I agree losing colony is a bit extreme and warning wouldn't hurt. That would atleast let you pull any colonies items/storage out before it goes. However it can be avoided with the right choices. As far as I know this event only occurs once per playthrough. Also losing the colony does  add ruins to the planet if you decide to recolonise.

There should be an option to save your colony in any situation using story point plus atleast 3 days destruction countdown, colony items should be returned to the player in any outcome too.

Do special projects work for building the UAF Novaria and Slovernia? I build the research center and I raid the UAF planet for the Novaria blueprint but still don't get the special project in the research UI. I tried learning the blueprint (right clicking it) and I tried putting the blueprint in the research window in the manage colony UI. I tried doing both (by raiding the planet twice it shows up again). I tried doing it in different orders by building the research center first then getting the blueprint and I tried building the research center last. I tried unlocking all the research in for vaults of knowledge and I tried not unlocking any of the research. I tried setting experimental tier to true in the mod settings and I tried it with false. No matter what I do Novaria and Slovernia don't show up. Yes I tried defeating the Slovernia fleet as well.

it's a pop up event not a dialog event.... it's made to give some interest in what you choose... this event van do 3 thing, the boom is one, but you can get "huge" colony boost from it too.

small question, i saw that some industry upgrade don't seem to keep some of the property of the "downgraded version".. like being able to use certain item on them.
And on aquaculture is you did the volturian seeding, the upgrade in fishing harbor don't seem to take it into account either... i know the volturian seeding if from an another mod iirc but would be great if the industry could take the "planet" condition into account for it's production. (like it does for most in other planet conditon, like + volatiles + prod in industries, etc...)

yeah, i mentioned it a while back-
i checked with the Interstellar imperium dev, after noticing the behaviour with byzantine vineyards, and its a quirk/issue on Ashes end- they actually mentioned/shared the bit of code that they use

Does this crash for anyone else when using together with Terraforming & Station Construction? I open the research, choose Stellar Light Manipulation and get a null exception when hovering over the unlock Stellar Reflector Array.
