 Hmmm, Catra, you're not a troll. You just insult people a little bit and will carry on with an argument long after it's dead. People call you a troll because you tend to find attempts to stop a discussion as insulting, and they feel the only way to stop you from ranting on (as you do sometimes) is to just ignore, much the same as a troll, causing the misconception.
 
 Or you're a troll. It's such a loose term, and I don't think that you live in caves and eat people and goats.

Whether you're strictly a troll or not doesn't matter. Fact is, you get accused of trolling and other don't. There's something about your behaviour that causes this. If you don't change the behaviour, you'll still come across as trollish even if you manage to convince everyone to not say anything. It doesn't even matter if you should come across like this or not - whether it's a mistake or not, because whether you should or not won't change whether you will.

This is a general principle, applying to many non-trolling topics.



I want to work out how to do the opposite - convince people to start telling me how I come across.
