Hi, I wanted to report that Derelicts do not get optimal skills when being equipped with more competent intelligence cores.
Derelicts like Sentry aren't affected by this that much, cause Ballistic Mastery isn't given until a higher intellect core is equipped. And Sentries aren't used by Remnants, so they're stuck only with these...

However, this does affect the Guardian guarding the Sleeper station

I think a similar issue somewhat affects the Scintilla by giving it Energy Weapons Mastery when it doesn't really have that many energy weapons. But that's relatively non-major, because carriers are carriers... And Scintilla still has some minor energy weapons.

I can't double check right now, but I remember it being a huge issues that often Derelicts and Remnants would gain skills that weren't really that beneficiary to their setups. Like Scintilla gaining Energy Weapons Mastery. But the biggest one is the Sentry gaining Ballistic Mastery. I hope this isn't something that occurs on the Guardian which prioritises Ballistic Mastery. But if I'm thinking right, then it should.

I'm really sorry if this is just me misremembering. But it's just that I was fooling around with buffing Derelicts a lot, and it was a big issue for me.

Uhhhhh... I'm really sorry. I kinda misremembered something, and tried to scrap this post somehow to make it useful.

But basically. The Guardian is using Ballistic Mastery instead of Energy Weapons Mastery, which isn't a big deal. But a big deal would be if Sentry was using Ballistic Mastery, because it has no ballistic weapons. But that will never happen in vanilla condition, so...
