Suggestion is a Retry button in the menu that opens during battles if you press Esc. (view attachment)
Currently, any not decisive battle forces the player to manually save before it and then reload, if he loses or takes unacceptable damage to the fleet.
Problems:
- both of those actions (saving and loading) break the game flow
- if the player forgot to save, you usually lose between 30 and 60 min of play time
- incentivizes fighting only significantly weaker fleets, where AI RNG is unlikely to tip the scales, yet those tend to boring mob up fights
- does incentivize conservative gameplay, which just tends to be less fun than yoloing with a Burn Drive into the enemy and trying risky maneuvers
