Doom Adjustments

Hello there

I was playing starcom nexus and I thought to myself "why am I messing around, this game just makes me want to play SC". This past week I did  my 12-18 month star sector pilgrimage. Its been awhile since I last played and I reloaded the new version.

I got the doom class last night, my favorite ship, and I thought I did something wrong because the ship performed poorly. I've since learned it has been adjusted (speed decrease, bomb range halved). This isn't a criticism of the game, more that the doom experience was something I've never had in other games and it was amazing to be against all odds in it and win the battle in this thing.  I loved the doom and it was how I enjoyed playing the game, the flank submarine experience, I found the user experience and the tactical speed thrilling.

It drives like a brick now and that experience is gone.

Is there a way I can remove the speed debuff and adjust the bomb range in battle?
I looked through the csv's last night and I did find a speed flag but I don't think it does what I think it does.

I've since reloaded an older version to forgo the new content and playing an old save from a version from ~2021/2022.

Any input is welcome.

If you pick literally every speed boost Doom can get (both of the skills, plus one of the speed hullmods), it becomes terrifyingly mobile (for a cruiser).

Thank you for the response. I buffed with skills, a module, and a minor csv speed adjustment. Much better.
