[Mod Request] Rare Colony Items Merchant

So I play with the Ashes of the Domain mod and I'm already close to pretty much beating this run, but I have yet to complete all of my research due to missing colony items. It made me realize how aggravatingly rare some of the items are.

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to put in requests, but I would like to see a mod that adds a bar event where you can come across someone who sells random colony items, similar to the person with the paper book. Failing that, I wouldn't mind a new and unique market you can find that sells them at incredibly high prices.

There's an old mod that I used for buying colony item. It's on Nexus Mods and it's called Chicken's Tech Shop. It's on version 0.96a and not yet updated to 0.97a and I haven't test it. Might want to try this if you want.

There's an old mod that I used for buying colony item. It's on Nexus Mods and it's called Chicken's Tech Shop. It's on version 0.96a and not yet updated to 0.97a and I haven't test it. Might want to try this if you want.

Do you know if both of them still work with "0.97a-RC11" and have all colony items and other rare items?

Huh, the Chicken's Tech Shop lists 0.1.4 on their version file but when I look at their release tab I only found the 0.1.3. So I think it's updated to 0.97a but they never release it. Here's their github if you want to check it. I'm forcing the 0.1.3 version to run on 0.97a and it crashes when I load my current playthrough, though I don't know if it crashes when you start a new game and reaches level 10 to unlock the item colony submarket.

The Extra Submarkets one is updated to the current version, but it doesn't have the colony item market.

Edit: The Chicken's Tech Shop one is working but you need to start a new game otherwise you'll crash the game.
Edit2: I managed to fix the bug so yay Rare Colony Items Merchant for me :D. I can't share it since I don't really have permission to do it so I'll ask for it first.

I'm not really the mod author, but looking at the code I think it supports other mods' colony item as long as that colony item have the "hist3t" or "pather4" tags in the mods' special_items.csv. It won't show all of the colony items at once since it's a submarket so you need to visit them every so often to get all of the colony items.

The mod works perfectly fine as long as you start a new save. I've sent a pull request to the mod author for the bug fix, so just hang in there. :D
