Game crashes when I ask a Lord to defect to a modded faction. Works with my own faction or with vanilla factions but when I try for Diable Avionics, Mayasura, and Ironshell game crashes. It also crashed when I tried to make lords for those factions

Does this mod allow you to participate in politics if you only ever start your own faction instead of ever getting a commission?  It keeps saying to start an organized faction, but I'm not sure what it means by that.

Great concept but for now i would reccomend do not try this unless you are ready for your game to crash.

Would strongly recommend validating the personalities of lords before creating a person with that personality.

PersonAPI.setPersonality will happily let you set the personality of someone to something that doesn't actually exist. The issue will only manifest when you try to save afterwards, at which point it's difficult to figure out what actually caused the error.

I get an ctd when beating a starlord.
It happened twice so far, being in system space and in hyperspace.

For anyone with the same issue here is a edited version that allows me to conitnue my save, no idea how it affects the lord ai in general.

For the author, I just changed isAllowedToEvade to

basically removing all your changes to it.

When you defeat a Starlord you really should get more info on them.  I'll have starlords prisoner and yet no information on them, even after consecutive battles with the same guy.

Is this mod dead of the dev on hiatus? There hasn't really been any updates in months and it's plagued with bugs atm. I've had to uninstall mine because it kept crashing my game.

If you join a feast tournament and use your own ship but it isn't the right theme and you win it seems the CR readiness penalty keeps getting applied on your whole fleet.

I must be doing something wrong here, 4 colonies size 3-4 barely making any profit, constantly being ganged banged by a pack of 8-10 starlords each fleet with at least 4 onslaughts, and from a faction that is neutral to me (hegemony), and and without any warning, not that it would help. 1on1 it could be an epic battle, with both sides taking heavy loses, 2on1 I would have to use every trick I know to even have a chance. 8on1 every few months + pirates + normal expeditions from faction I'm at war with + another 8-10 starlords from a faction I'm at war, made me restart the campaign without this mod.
Mod basically forces you to join one of the factions, but It's not my way.

I dont know why the crash happens, i didnt even interact with any lord but it always happens at a very specific moment, meaning the save is completely dead.
I will try to see if i can remove the star lords from the save and disable the mod but my hopes aren't too high, if anyone has any tips for me id appreciate it.

EDIT :
After looking into the code it seems that the crash happens when one of the lords is trying to collect taxes but can't find a "nearest local market" ?
Just before the inevitable crash i noticed that the hegemony captures the last remaining syndrian colony, likely related, but i dont know which lord is causing the error still.
My sanity is down but my hope is up. I will save the save.
