Hi there, I'm relatively new to the game but for what it's worth, this is the absolute best ship pack man, really great job. I went way off the deep end with mods probably sooner than I should have lol, but I appreciate so much that you actually have like cool utility ships and tankers and such seems like a lot of the packs just give you a ton of combat ships and nothing else. Anyway, these are absolutely beautiful and incredibly fun to use, the Gelian is my favorite so far this playthrough but the tanker ship (can't remember the name) is awesome too. Nothing seems super OP either, especially compared to some other stuff. Maybe just a tiny touch above base which is what I want. Thank you for your work!

Hello there and welcome to the community. I am flattered that I am your first post and it being such a nice commentary!

Lol it is very tempting to go "all-in" but there is something to be said about playing the game with no mods to experience what Alex and the team envision. However once you install Nexerelin, well let's just say "Gotta catch them all!"
Anyway, these are absolutely beautiful and incredibly fun to use, the Gelian is my favorite so far this playthrough but the tanker ship (can't remember the name) is awesome too.
I am so happy to hear you like the look of these ships, as this is my latest mod and it benefited from the experience I learned making my other mods. The Gelian is a special case ship since Tri-Tac does not use carriers I made a few combat ships that just happened to also have wings and that one is the pinnacle. There are three tankers but whichever one you like I appreciate it :)
Nothing seems super OP either, especially compared to some other stuff. Maybe just a tiny touch above base which is what I want. Thank you for your work!
THANK YOU! I get some players stating they are OP but they are comparing the pack to vanilla standards. I made this ship pack specifically so Tri-Tac could keep up with all the other faction mod packs like Iron shell, Luddic enhancement, PAGSM, etc that make them irrelevant without it.

I have to say you made my morning as I sip my coffee and enjoy your post. I look forward to any other commentary you may have, good or bad.

Thank you for the follow up and testing. The Ion Burst is most likely in need to a balance pass as you are not the first to tell me it is either a bit OP or that it is their favorite energy weapon and would riot if I changed it. :)
 
Hi, I checked the data file and found that the weapon has a unused burst delay of 1, since the burat size is 1 the delay would never take effect. A nerf of range(make it 450) and keep everything else untouched would be nice and make it a high risk high reward option. Kinetic weapon is a pain in the ass to balance in the first place. I like this weapon too, since there are so few kinetic options on an energy mount.

i second that this Ion Burst is OP so much that in my current game i had to make myself to not use it ... with it equiped i can take 40+ DP stuff with just 20DP ship and no fighting perks on my character and when i tried to equip this ship with anything else i could not even survive more than 1 min vs ships i powned effortless before
so i think nerf range would really make sense or more flux cost or even both would be nice plus some slower projectile would help balance it too imo cos like now it powns fighters too and go thro groups of them like it has unlimited dmg vs em or something

really enjoy rest of mod ! and other of your mods too , Ty for that !

Heard, I will be adjusting it in the next update. I am leaning toward more EMP damage and less Kinetic but I am curious about your comment in that is it OP because it disables too fast or because it breaks shields too fast?

All the energy weapons in the mod are 800 by design because I find that most medium/large energy weapons are between 700 and 1000 and I felt it was a sweet spot that was underserved. Increasing the flux is tricky as it is a mixed damage/EMP weapon and the tooltip for flux per damage does not report that correctly (in my experience/opinion). I do agree that the projectile speed needs to be lowered so that is defiantly going in.

That is so nice to hear, I am always on the lookout for player opinions because I am a solo mod maker with seven mods and I could use the help. :)

If you downloaded the mod on 6/11 please redownload as I mistakenly uploaded v9.2 to the nonex version TY for letting me know.

v0.9.2 released (again) today 6/12 - Save Game compatible
    -Cleaned up the sprite for the Amorphia - TY Alfa-HR for reaching out and letting me know
    -Ion Burst: Lowered the Kinetic damage by 50, increased the EMP damage by 50 and decreased the projectile speed from 1400 to 1200 - Most requested nerf enacted
    -Caconym: Fixed an issue with the mounts being mislabeled - TY AlfadorZero & Amazigh for noting it

Sorry all for the above mixup and extra hassle - That is what I get for posting an update before heading off to bed I guess :)
