Is there notes for what is being worked on for the next patch?
(Really hope to see something that lets me align with the ludic path)

Prepare to be disappointed. It's almost entirely QOL updates and UI overhauls.

Necessary. But also very boring.

Very understandable perception, but: absolutely not the case! That's just the stuff I can easily talk about without spoilers :)

You'd have to be a master tease to keep excitement up for this game for so long.

Lol, personally the QoL and UI updates are things I have been wishing for years honestly so I am super jazzed they are getting addressed!

To be fair an improved sim is a pretty great feature

Couldn’t disagree more. Sim, codex, intel screen, performance increase…that’s all prime stuff. Considering I spend a good 30-40% of my time in any given run testing ships in the sim, my enjoyment factor is going to skyrocket. That’s worth getting excited for.

Not saying new content is worse in some way but don’t underestimate the (not so) little things.

I do feel like prior updates focused more on introducing game systems (i.e. combat mechanics, skill overhaul, colony system, Colony Crises, etc.), but the focus is gradually shifting toward QoL (recent blog posts) and game content (ships, quest arcs, etc.). So past updates were more about establishing the fundamental framework of the game, while recent updates have been more about using that framework to flesh out more content as reasons to play the game and overall polish. Since most players aren't interested in game mechanics per se but more in some sort of compelling story or something interesting "to do". That means the game is gradually heading toward release.

Of course, release is asymptotic, so a decade from now we'll probably be at Starsector 0.999.9.8.56.712 or something.

There's also all the teasers Alex has been releasing on Twitter.

One of it is censored by replacing the graphics, in other words, there's upcoming content that needs to be spoiler-proofed.

most importantly from what i understand hardpoint accuracy will be increased tremendously greatly increasing the effectiveness of Hound, Brawler, and I would also assume Dominator, Talon, etc.

Albeit it's important to note that this change will only affect ships with high combat readiness. This is the result of fixing of some sort of a bug something something something

I would guess the hardpoint aiming fix will mostly affect fast moving units so dominator won't be massively affected, if at all, but fighters and frigates should be. IIRC the issue was with the aiming not accounting for its own movement affecting projectiles and not turning appropriately.

Does it? Cause I saw someone demonstrating that in the context of a Rampart.

Thought there was some ai issues that were taken care off that would make hardpointers in general commit a bit more in aiming at something.

I think there were just bugs about taking into account the aimer's velocity in the hardpoint aiming code and it wasn't aiming at the right spot .
