The game is number-heavy design, so make sure that all the information is approachable makes sense. There are some wiki on internet but make built-in wiki is worth the effort. At least, player get 100% valid and updated info.
I also parecetiate thinking process, how to present values.
BTW: Battle statistic mod, should be somewhat included in game. Or at least make better support for parse-read precise data.
Here is a tip for further QoL / desing feature : current fighter system uses in fact two systems. One old based on Weapon Cost, second new based on Ship Deploy Value. I believe that it should be simplified - merged into one system, >>> the new one.
Which means, Astral base deploy cost would be about 25. Adding fighters on board, deploy price will go up. One consistent system easy to understand.
As you have found, in years of development, there are thing which are obsolete and have to be cut out. Makes ship building (ship design rules) more understandable makes better game >> more people would be dare to try it.
