Hello,

Your mod sounds like an interesting faction to play with, how-ever i ran into an error.

i downloaded and enabled your mod, how-ever when i start the game itself it gives me the error:

Fatal: Error loading [data\variants\dpl_marimba_ll_Attacker.variant] resource, not found in...

i checked the zip file itself and could not find it. I'm unfamiliar with modding so i could have looked in the wrong place tho.

Hi! Thanks for your feedbacks! I believe this is due to unprecedented corruptions during the download process. Please download the mod file again from this forum page, and see if the issue is solved.

Hey, I also started the game with randomized sectors on Nex. Of course, Muspelheim did not spawn as randomized sectors are not supported (which is not clearly noted as something incompatible just fyi). Like several others, I am having issues with the mysterious raiders as there are like, idk, 5 entire fleets roaming my system at all times no matter how many I blow up. There is no mod setting to turn off this part of the questline, no way to force Muspelheim to spawn nor bypass its necessity. I'm not a modder ofc, otherwise I'd have loved to help some way, but I just don't know how you could make the necessary components show up on a randomly generated home world for the faction. That said, I do know that even in a randomly generated sector, Emergent Threats: XIV Battlegroup and Trinity Worlds do force spawn their respective home system, Danu and Zorya (to my dismay, given them starting with 4 planets is somewhat unbalanced). If you reach out to the creator of Emergent Threats/IX Revival, Vicegrip, they might be able to help you out with an easy fix or something, Idk, again I'm not a modder and frankly hardly even a lurker. Hope you get a chance to read this and best of luck.

Hi! Thanks for your feedbacks! This mod currently only provides limited supports for the random sectors. I'll make the colony crisis just not spawn if the random sectors option is enabled in the coming update.

And, if you want to know the reason why I don't force-spawn the Muspelheim system, it's because I believe such actions are in nature against the spirit of "random sector mode", and I do respect the ideas behind the random sector mode. So I decide to wait until Nex finishes its remake of the entire random sector mode, and then provide inter-mod compatibility for random sector mode through implementations that fits the spirit of "random sector mode" better.

So how do I get rid of my mysterious raider problem in nexerelin?

Atleast I coulden't find that muspelheim system in the inhabited planets list, maybe I didn't look enough.

Sorry if they arn't from this mod, not sure which it would be otherwise.

If you're playing with Randomized Worlds, then you're out of luck, because the system is not set to force-spawn, effectively soft-locking the whole Domain Phase Lab crisis.

If not, Muspelheim is on the north-west edge of the vanilla coreworlds, just north-west of the League's Tyle-Antilla system.

O7 got it, will just deal with the raiders constant spawning.

Hi! Thanks for your feedbacks! I'll make the colony crisis not active  at all if the game is in random sector mode. This will be done in the coming update.

As a rather unintelligent person, I cannot manage to proceed with the quests that are in here. I've done all the one-off retrieval/bounty quests with Ross Higgins, but that hasn't gone much further. I can't get any quests at all from Eliza. I did the Kanta Quest to give him the throne, but nothing has happened for months after that.

What am I missing? What do I need to do?

(Also I cannot get the 'item' from Camilla Wiener to give to Ross)

Is there a place I can go to that I can figure this out? A discord? A guide?

Many thanks, I do like this mod very much. I have found it so far very creative and interesting.

Hi! Thanks for your feedbacks! For Eliza, if you met her, you should be able to add her as a contact. Then you can take special missions from her as you relation with her is getting better, and you stay friendly to the Phase Lab. But, if you met her, and you ignored (or discarded) the option to add her as a contact, then unfortunately, this option wouldn't show up again, and you'll not receive quests from her.

For Camilla, you are supposed to get good relations with her, spend 1 story point and install a special hullmod from her. Then bring a ship with this special hullmod to Ross, that'll do the trick.

Hey, love the mod so far.

However, I accidentally pressed "ignore the girl" when docking with a station in the Phase Lab system, as I was kind of button mashing and wasn't aware there would be a prompt.

Am i locked out of anything?

Hi! Thanks for your feedbacks! If you ignored her, the option will always show up after 60 days. So no worries, just go around and explore other things, and come back to Research Site V after 2 months. You'll be able to meet her again.

hey man i just getting back into the sector after a break and i was looking though forum for updates and thought id pop by ask how you been. i hope your doing well. have you made eliza kissable yet. you should i remember actually getting attached to her character i looking forward to my second playthrough lol

Hi! Thanks for your feedbacks! I was busy for the past weeks, mostly doing my own research and not paying much attention to the forum at all. I'm focusing on making new story quests for Ross in the next 2 or 3 updates, and I plan to add more contents of small daily stories with Eliza (plus more new portraits and scenes) after I finish making the final quest for Ross.

Just a heads up but as of v0.98 the Janino compiler can no longer compile any .java files that make use of the .clone() method. I did a findstr check and these files in your mod currently make use of the method. It's probably either time to compile those files yourself with an IDE or figure out some kind of workaround.

Hi! Thank you so much for informing me about this! I noticed this problem as well, and I fixed it by putting more things in the .jar file. So this problem shouldn't be there in the coming update.

Hey, i just got song of spirit bomber but I can't install it to the Cimbasso and Trombone ship. Maybe it's because of the special hanger hullmod thingy?

Hi! Thanks for your feedbacks! This bug is noticed, and will be fixed in the next update. Turns out I forgot to give that special fighter a tag for DPL carriers to recognize it as a DPL fighter...

This comment contains spoilers for .98

Spoiler
I can understand how this mod might take very long to properly update to .98. Because lore wise, the existence of the (THREAT) and (LITERAL DEMONS) puts a significant dent on Phase Labs lore. Afterall, they are supposed to be at the fore front at the knowledge of phase space, and they also drudged through the abyss for quite a long time. It will be quite embarrassing and confusing how they don't know jack of these things while the tri-tachyon somehow gotten a hold of what is presumably, a corpse of the shrouded.

Hi! Thanks for your feedbacks! And if you want to know why is the new update coming so slowly, it's mostly because I'm systematically remaking the entire ships & weapons system, from their sprites, to hullmods, to the overall designs, etc. This big fix is mostly due to the significant balancing concerns and sprite quality concerns. I'm reforming everything in this mod to a better form, during this progress, I need to make more than 40 new sprites plus other different effect pictures, and also writing a lot of new codes to implement interesting new mechanisms I have in mind. Thankfully, together with many kind people willing to actively giving suggestions, feedbacks, or even joining the process of making various new pictures, we were able to get everything done in an efficient manner, and I'm happy to say that the development is near the end, waiting for some last balancing feedbacks. And the next update would be released within one or two weeks.

For the 0.98 update of the main game, this indeed brings many, many interesting new possibilities, and I plan to add more related story contents in the future updates after the coming update. Since I also would need more time to get familiar with how everything works, and to come up with interesting stories.

Hoping we can keep the Acuity in some form, that specific ship I happen to really like.

I'm checking this page daily hoping to catch the update as soon as it drops. I'm so ready to be using the amazing beam weapons to chew through the sector.

Love using the Acuity in conjunction with the Ziggurat just because of the amount of damage that can be dished out.
