FAQ

Can the mod be added to existing games?
Yes it can!

Is it good?
It's really good. We worked really hard and are very proud of it.

Are the ships OP?
The ships have higher power density than most in their classes, but their FP/maintenance costs reflect this. Fewer stronger ships means the armor modules don't negatively impact performance or balance.

Are there quests?
We've included an expansive breadcrumb storyline to discover and we're working on formal quests.

Are there boss fights?
Thanks for asking! There are multiple boss fights of escalating difficulty.

Where should I start the storyline?
The Knights have stations in Canaan and Eos Exodus. The characters there can get you pointed in the right direction.

Can the mod be added to existing games?
Yes it can!

Do I need a good PC to play Knights of Ludd?
KOL scripts are efficient but ambitious and layered. We recommend budgeting 300MB of VRAM for the mod.

Wait a minute, the ablative armor bits are showing up over the in-combat status display. Fairly sure I haven't seen this done before - usually you just get the silhouette of the base ship without the armor on it, since it's using that graphic - but this has implications for a lot of mods.
