Had a spysat-mission and because there was too much traffic around the spot, I introduced false readings into the sensor array.
When I then returned to the spot, all the other fleets were busy, except for the one patrolling exactly the deployment-spot with just the status "patrolling" (and a newly spawned fleet, although this may be working as intended).

Thank you for the report! Hmm - not all fleets are guaranteed to be affected by this, it's down to luck to some degree, so I suspect this is not actually a bug?

Thank you for your fast reply.
I have another spysat-mission waiting for me when I start the game next time (Sindria... I'm really curious if it's doable with the false readings).
If I do recognize the same behavior (spysat-fleet apparently the only one unaffected) in this and more missions, I would report here again.

Quick report after 8 spysat-missions in 0.97:

No. 1 and No. 3 the patrol was affected by the false readings, in No. 2 and No. 4 they were not.
No. 5 had no sensor array in the system, in No. 6 the sensor array was so heavily guarded, that it was easier to deploy the spysat directly.
No. 7 the patrol was affected, though I'm only 90 - 95 % sure, because it was at the Laicaille Habitat and with all the asteroid-belts it is not impossible that I just didn't spot them.
No. 8 was again at the Laicaille Habitat and here the the patrols were definitely initially affected by the false readings, but at the same time when I returned to the Habitat, so did also multiple patrols (including the one patrolling the specific spot). And at least until I deployed the spysat, those patrols didn't leave again (at Laicaille it's rather easy with the asteroid belts to deploy the spysat, don't know how this would have gone at another station/world).

Thank you for the update! Seems like it's working correctly, then.
